The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) recently presented a webinar titled “The Intersection of Intellectual Property and Bankruptcy: Kodak, Nortel and Other Cases.”  

The intent of the program was to assist restructuring professionals in understanding IP law and the process of selling IP in distressed circumstances. The panelists drew on their experiences in recent cases including Nortel and Kodak. Kelly Beaudin Stapleton of Alvarez & Marsal served as moderator. The panel consisted of David Berten of Global IP Law Group, LLC, Pauline K. Morgan of Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, Cassandra M. Porter of Lowenstein Sandler LLP and Christopher Burton Wick of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP. A recording of the webinar is available at cle.abi.org.
